Careers

We'll help you build the kind of legal career you really want

If you're looking for a hands-on role in the legal sector with the autonomy to grow, we'd love to hear from you and discuss how we can support your future aspirations. Whilst knowledge of the law will always be important, we know that the difference between a good lawyer and a great one usually lies in a broader range of skills. We're always interested to hear from legal professionals with strong client focus, commercial awareness and the ability to embrace autonomy.

As we look to grow our business and broaden our legal services, these are the skills we need to build the business that modern-day legal clients expect. Our focused leadership team comes without the many levels of hierarchy you might expect at some law firms, giving our staff the freedom to grow and develop as individuals and as departments. We're open to ideas from staff at all levels on how we can deliver a better service for clients.

What you can expect as a new recruit at PM Law Group

Very simply, we want to find the right people to help us grow and then give them all the support and resources they need. If you're new to the legal sector you'll get exposure to real, hands-on client work quickly, supported by experienced specialists within your department. If you're an established specialist already, we'll give you the freedom, technology and resources you need to develop further in your career or to grow and lead your own department.

We're always looking for synergies between different services and departments and finding better ways to deliver a service to clients. If you've ever wanted to play more of a part in aligning your processes to better match client expectations, this is your opportunity to do so. By working with our internal teams you can apply your experience and understanding of your area of the law to design processes that create better outcomes for your clients.

Graduate Recruitment

If you're a law student looking for your first role in the sector, we can give you the experience, skills and support you need to complement your academic achievements. We work closely with universities and typically have two or three intakes of law graduates every year. If you're in your final year or have recently completed your degree we'll be happy to hear from you to discuss your aspirations.

What can you expect as a graduate recruit with PM Group?

We recruit graduates every year into several of our key departments. Whichever department you join, you can expect the same thing - a clear, structured development plan to get your career off to a quick start. This will include real experience of working with clients as quickly as possible, so we look for confident individuals with the ability to learn quickly.

Thanks to our regular intakes of graduates, you won't feel alone. You'll be in a cohort of other graduates and work closely with past graduates who've gone on to build a career within the group. You'll also have the support of our in-house training team and experienced, senior lawyers in your department.
