As a member of our Sales Team, you will deal with potential new customers seeking to instruct our specialist team of practitioners in a variety of legal matters. You will provide quotes within strict time scales; create sales opportunities and where appropriate guide and signpost potential customers; whilst being confident and professional on the telephone. You will be able to prioritise workload and handle a broad spectrum of general enquiries relating to these transactions. Having a keen attention to detail will set you apart from others.


Role Responsibilities

  • Working with the New Business Supervisor, there will be opportunities for you to get involved in driving the conversion of new enquiries into new instructions.
  • Be the first point of contact for all new business enquiries including, taking new customer leads and converting those leads to new instructions both inbound and outbound.
  • Answer all phone calls and deal with customer enquiries within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure all customer leads are logged on the bespoke case management system and all quotes completed in accordance with firm protocols and within SLA.
  • Complete all follow up calls within SLA.
  • Advise and assist customers in relation to file opening and any other requirements.
  • Be the first point of contact for customer queries and helpline calls as required.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to customers and stakeholders at all times.
  • Manage customer payments where required.
  • Be a productive contributor to the team.
  • Exceed personal targets and KPIs within protocol timeframes.
  • From time to time you may be asked to perform other duties and / or to work in other areas of our business where / if necessary

What we need from you

  • You will have prior experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • You should have a proven track record in generating new business, achieving targets and delivering high quality customer service.
  • You will need to have demonstrable skills in an administrative role with strong numeracy skills.
  • You’ll have the ability to work using own initiative.
  • You shall have an excellent telephone and e-mail manner accompanied by strong interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of people and clients.
  • You will be confident using MS Packages; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • You will hold a minimum of 3 GCSE’s grade C or above, to include English and Maths
  • You will be enthusiastic with a positive work ethic and have a natural desire to want to succeed
