PM Law Group are seeking an experienced Head of Conveyancing to lead a successful conveyancing team located at our Butterworths Branch in Carlisle. In this role you will be responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining high standard of service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Conveyancing Department, ensuring alignment to the business plans, KPI’s, SLA’s and regulatory standards (CQA, SRA)
  • Collaborate with senior management and the Managing Director to deliver strategic goals, onboard new work and manage referral relationships
  • Build strong client relationships and expand professional networks to drive revenue
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards and oversee client identity checks and compliance approvals.
  • Responsible for fee earner case supervision and sign of when required
  • Play an active role in recruitment, training and succession planning.

Who we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Solicitor status is essential to the role
  • Strong expertise of residential and commercial conveyancing, across a range of transactions including Freehold/Leasehold/Sale and Purchase, remortgaging, transfer of equity and refinancing
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Effective leadership skills
