We are a rapidly expanding legal practice seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Post Completion Assistant to join our dynamic conveyancing department.

As our newly appointed Post Completion Assistant, you will assist the post completion team with administrative tasks and deal with the post completion, registration and archiving of residential property matters. Ensuring departmental KPIs and SLAs are achieved.


Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for clients and external parties regarding post completion matters, demonstrating strong communication skills and providing exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring the lenders are kept up to date should registrations be delayed
  • To send completed registrations to the lender/client
  • Keep an accurate and orderly system in place for dealing with all post completion matters
  • Closing files once all work is complete
  • To ensure there are no client balances on any files before they are archived
  • To deal with any other balances on account whether credit or debit and allocate/bill appropriately
  • To work within the closure and archiving policies
  • You may be required to perform any other duties and to work in any other areas as requested by the Company, if necessary, which may include other offices and those of clients

What we need from you

  • Experience working in a residential conveyancing department (especially in post completions) would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Legal knowledge of Conveyancing/ Land Law is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work using own initiative and manage own caseload effectively
  • Proven administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent telephone and e-mail manner accompanied by strong interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of people and clients
  • Proficient use of MS office and MS Outlook required
  • Prior experience of Proclaim Case Management Software would be advantageous
