As our new HR Administrator at the PM Law Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our firm’s most valuable asset – our people. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will perform an array of HR administration duties.

Role Responsibilities

Role responsibilities:

  • Answer Absence Reporting Line on a daily basis and update managers accordingly.
  • Record HR system with absences.
  • Update HR system with starters, leavers, and amendments.
  • Assist with new upgrades of HR system.
  • Produce Induction packs for new starters.
  • Produce offer letters and all documentation relating to the recruitment process.
  • Produce amendment to contract letters.
  • Produce all other correspondence for HR team.
  • Deal with DBS checks for new starters.
  • Deal with external company to set up bulk acquisition DBS checks.
  • Assist HR Assistant by producing absence reports in line with sickness policy for all departments and producing ad hoc reports when requested.
  • Cover for HR Assistant for payroll in their absence which includes liaising with external payroll company.
  • Assist Recruitment with Recruitment processes, i.e. checking applications from media sites, and contacting candidates re vacancies.

What we need from you

Who are we looking for?:

  • At least 2 years in an HR administration role required.
  • Experience of HR systems required.
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proven ability to use HR systems effectively
  • Ability to communicate at all levels including senior management
  • Ability to prioritise workload and to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexible approach.
